For Lindsey 2002

The first draft of this piece was finished in February 2002, and was a Valentine gift for Lindsey. Since then, this piece went through numerous revisions until it was finished and orchestrated in January 2003. "For Lindsey" is in two sections with an introduction and coda. The first section has the main theme and develops with a continuous melody and is subdued in character until its climax. The second section is a more playful scherzando that further develops the main idea rhythmically and melodically.

The world premiere of "For Lindsey" took place in Kiev, Ukraine in February 2003 at the International Ukrainian Music Festival under the direction of George Stelluto.
