Who Is Like God? 2001

Growing up Catholic, I have always been fascinated with my name and who I was named after and what it stands for. Michael, the archangel, is most known for defeating Satan and his fallen followers in the War of Heaven. There are themes for Satan, Michael, and God. The first theme, Satan, uses the intervals of a tri-tone and minor 2nd to provide an ominous character. Michael's theme outlines a major 7th chord and is presented as a waltz to give a more light-hearted feel. The final theme, God, is sustained over Satan and Michael during the battle sequence amongst the chaos. "Who Is Like God?" is the Hebrew translation for the name Michael.
